Zornitsa Petrova



Born in 1990 in the town of Pleven.

In 2013, she acquires a Bachelor degree in National and regional security at the National Military University “Vasil Levski”, city of Veliko Tarnovo. In 2014, she completes a specialized course in Conflict management and negotiations to the United States Institute of Peace, Washington, USA. In 2015, she acquires a Master’s degree in Major “Protection of citizens and critical infrastructure”, Faculty of Command post to the Military Academy “G. S. Rakovski”.

2011-2014 – works as a financial consultant at the bank sector.

2015-2017 – local assistant to the European Parliament. Works for the MEP Mariya Gabriel, Vice-President of the European People’s Party (EPP) group, head of the Bulgarian EPP delegation, member of the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE), member of the Foreign Affairs Committee (AFET), member of Committee on Women’s Rights and Gender Equality (FEMM).

She works as an administrative assistant at an international law firm until 05.05.2017

She commands English language and Romanian language. She uses German language and Spanish language.
